JORDAN RACING
2006 Team and Riders Steve Jordan has been riding a standard engined 2005 Suzuki SV650 in the MRO minitwins championship until the end of June. Steve finished 6th in the 2005 Nationwide championship with 1 win, 2 seconds and 1 3rd place finish. Steve has now been racing for over 10 years and has a wealth of experience from British Supersports and the North West 200. Steve has now just purchased a Suzuki GSXR1000K6 to compete in the MRO Stocksport/Powerbikes for the remainder of 2006. Sarah Jordan is riding a big bore 2005 Suzuki SV650 which has been modified to compete in the new Thunderbike series. This class has been based on the Formula USA Thunderbike series and offers a competitive environment for some very interesting bikes such as Buells, SV650's and BMW Boxer Cup bikes. The series is run to a strict set of rules based around a power to weight ratio of 1BHP to 4LB in weight. This means if your bike is 100BHP it can be no less than 400LB in weight. The SV650 is an ideal bike for this class as it is allowed to run upto 750CC along with any amount of modifications to reach the minimum weight for the BHP it produces, such as lightweight wheels, GSXR front end which Sarahs SV is now running. Sarah has been racing now for over 5 years and is looking to also race a Suzuki GSXR1000K6 in the up and comming European Womens Cup in 2007 and will also be riding a GSXR600 at the MRO Brands Hatch GP round in September. We also have 3 other riders joining us for
2006.
